It’s much easier to add images to the blog than to the website, so that’s where most of my personal work lives at the moment. I’ll be glad, however, to trade artwork for web developer services if any tech-savvy types out there are interested in snazzing up this site.

 

I love to draw. I’ve done it all my life. When I was eight, I decided it was time to get serious, and I began to study the masters. In my mind this meant Neal Adams, Michelangelo, Caravaggio, Norman Rockwell, and JC Leyendecker, among others. I quickly sold a small, not entirely original pen-and-ink drawing at a regional art fair, thus heralding the beginning of my commercial career. There have been a lot of ups and downs along the way. The volatile nature of my chosen career has led me to try once again to sell my work on its own merits, and not merely as a service to professional clients. So far, the income generated by this enterprise has been fairly minimal, but I’ve succeeded in placing my work in Mexico, Australia, Austria, and Ireland, not to mention achieving minor cult status in certain fashionable neighborhoods in my home town of New York City. And I still have fun doing it!
